Jason Knight is the director, a co-founder, and an instructor at Alderleaf Wilderness College and author of The Essential Skills of Wilderness Survival. He is an experienced wildlife biologist with expertise in wildlife tracking and has taught wilderness survival skills for over two decades. Jason has worked with conservation organizations, government agencies, and in the private sector. He has consulted as a local wilderness skills expert for the Discovery Channel and has been featured on NPR.
