Community Events

The Chamber of Commerce runs 6 events every year. Look What's Local, Farmers Market, Show n' Shine, Railroad Days, Frightening Falls and the Christmas tree lighting. These events help draw people into town which gets people into local businesses.

Railroad Days

Railroad Days happens the first Saturday in October, it celebrates the era of steam trains that puffed through town beginning in 1892 when the Everett and Monte Cristo Railroad reached the town.

Railroad days is our annual celebration of our history and a gathering place for Granite Falls Alumni. Join us for our kids parade at 11:30am and our Main Street parade at 12pm. Stick around for great vendors, great food and the carnival next to IGA.
